About Me
Welcome to my website! My name is Samantha Angiolillo. I am a senior at Mount Saint Mary College seeking to become a special education teacher. My major is in mathematics with a dual certification in adolescent and special education. Since my freshman year at the Mount, I have observed numerous classroom settings, such as general education, self-contained, inclusion, and resource rooms. From September to December 2016, I student taught at two different schools. My general education placement was in a seventh grade class at Marlboro Middle School. My special education placement was at Marlboro High School, where I taught Algebra I and had instructional skills with students from 9th-12th grade. My placements helped me increase my lesson planning, classroom management, and teaching strategies. When I graduate, I plan on receiving my masters in special education. My desire to work with special education students started over the summer of 2016, when I volunteered at GiGi's Playhouse Down Syndrome Achievement Center, where I worked with groups of teenagers to help promote communication and social interaction. The teens that I worked with make me feel so incredible and are the reason why I want to purse a Masters in Special Education! For more information, please contact me at my email below!
